• 55 y/o male with history of once seizure attack was referred to our
department for more evaluation and study with 3D images was done .
• Punctate high signal foci in centrum semiovale (Fazekas Score = 1 ) .
• 5mm lacunar infarction in right periventricular area in frontal lobe is
noted .
• Both hippocampus show symmetric size and signal .
• No evidence of atrophy in mammillary bodies is seen .
• At this study , no evidence of abnormal hemosiderin deposition is
detected.
• No developmental or migrational abnormalities in brain paranchyma are
seen.
• There is no pathology at the skull base.
• Petromastoid areas appear normally , with no abnormal signal .
• Both CPA and IAC are symmetric with equal signal .
• Posterior fossa structures including cerebellar hemispheres ,fourth
ventricle and brachium cerebeli appear normal .
• Pituitary gland ,sella turcia and parasellar regions show normal
shape and signal .
• Gray and white matter are well visualized ,with no clear evidence of
S.O.L in supra and infratentorial regions .
• Sulci ,fissures
